The plans
What counts as an active share?
One recipient opening one deck inside a billing month. Re-opens by the same recipient do not double-count. Internal views and drafts are always free.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Codexroom prorates against the new plan from the day of the switch.
What happens if we exceed the share volume?
The plan stays on its tier and overage applies at the published rate. Codexroom never auto-upgrades you.
Is the trial real?
Yes. Every new workspace gets 14 days of the Pro tier with no card. After 14 days the workspace asks for a plan.
Seats and roles
How many governors can I have?
Unlimited on every plan. The brand team grows freely.
What is a creator?
A user who composes decks and creates shares inside the workspace. Counted only when active.
Are recipients ever charged?
No. Recipients open shares for free, on any device.
Implementation
Do I need an implementation service?
Most Studio customers self-serve. Most Growth and Enterprise customers take Brand Codex Migration at minimum. The choice is yours.
How long does Brand Codex Migration take?
Two to four weeks from kick-off, depending on the size of your library.
Billing and contracts
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual saves around 20 per cent on Studio and Growth. Enterprise contracts are annual by default.
Do you support purchase orders?
Yes, on Growth and Enterprise plans.
What currencies do you bill in?
USD by default, with SGD, EUR, and GBP available at checkout. The plan price flexes with the currency.
Security and compliance
Are you SOC 2 compliant?
SOC 2 Type II audit closes Q4 2026. Until then, Codexroom ships a security white paper on request. Read the trust centre →
Do you sign DPAs?
Yes. Standard DPA available on request and bundled with every Enterprise contract.
What gates can my team set on a share?
Five: password, IP allowlist (CIDR ranges), origin allowlist (domains), country allowlist (ISO-3166 alpha-2 codes), email verification with a 6-digit code, and a view cap that self-revokes after the agreed number of opens. Set any subset per share. Each gate ships on every plan.
Cancellation and data
Can I cancel any time?
Yes on monthly plans. Annual plans run to the end of the term.
Do I own my data?
Yes. Tokens, templates, assets, decks, and shares all belong to your workspace. Export available on request and bundled with Enterprise.
