Cookies policy

Effective from 30 May 2026.

Draft. This page sets the structure and intent. A lawyer-reviewed version replaces this draft before public launch.

This page explains how Codexroom uses cookies and similar technologies across codexroom.com, the tenant subdomains, and the share viewer.

1.Strictly necessary cookies

Used to authenticate you, to keep your session, and to remember your workspace. Set by Clerk. Cannot be disabled without breaking the service.

2.Functional cookies

Used to remember your preferences in the viewer (theme, text size). Set by the viewer when you change a preference.

3.Analytics cookies on the marketing site

Used to measure how visitors use codexroom.com. Privacy-respecting tooling, with aggregated data only.

4.No third-party trackers in the viewer

The recipient viewer carries no third-party cookies. The only cookie present is the path-scoped session cookie that proves a password gate has been passed for the specific share.

5.Your choices

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Cookie preferences for the marketing site are also available through the cookie banner.
